VxWorks Exploder (Email Mailing List)

Posting Info

This is a mailing list for VxWorks(tm) and Tornado(tm) Realtime operating
systems.

This mailing list is operated by users of the product and has no direct
relation to the company, Wind River Systems.

Articles are posted to the list (email to vxwexplo@lbl.gov) or to the
internet newsgroup comp.os.vxworks, and will appear in both.

The list (not the newsgroup) has spam filtering. Include either the
word VxWorks or the word Tornado in the posting to pass the filters.
The newsgroup has no filtering due to the nature of the distribution.

When replying to the list make sure to edit out the trailers, if these
are present on incoming mail the article is rejected as a bounce.

Make sure there is a valid subject line (replying to digests produces
bad subject lines) as an article with no subject line will not get
crossposted successfully to the newsgroup.

Use only plain text in postings, html is not appropriate for all
thousand plus list customers, and increases the size of the
posting needlessly.

Edit down the message being replied to both to reduce bandwidth and to
prevent the newsgroup posting engine from rejecting due to too much
included text.
